Ingredients

  • 1 green apple cored and cut into 12 wedges
  • ½ cup natural almond butter softened
  • 2 strawberries hulled and sliced
  • ¼ cup unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 12 mini marshmallows
  • 1 oz dark chocolate finely chopped
  • Tooth picks

Instructions

  • Place two apple slices together so they’re touching on one side, and smear the inside sides on both wedges with almond butter.
  • Add a strawberry slice in the middle of the bottom wedge and stick sunflower seeds on the top and bottom of the apple wedges. Using the almond butter as glue, place the top wedge on top of the bottom.
  • Meanwhile, place the chocolate in a small bowl and microwave on 50% heat in 30 second increments until melted. Transfer to a piping bag.
  • Pipe a small dot in the middle of each of the marshmallows (like eyes), then attach the marshmallow on one side of the toothpick to the marshmallow and the other side into the apple. Refrigerate until ready to serve!
