Gluten Free Shake and Bake Chicken | Healthy Copycat Recipe

This Gluten Free Shake and Bake Chicken Recipe is a healthy copycat version of the boxed seasoning mix that will help add tons of flavour to your chicken dinner in a flash!

Shake and Bake Mix (Makes Extra):

  • 1 cup gluten free oats processed in a food processor until it becomes a fine powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp smoked sweet paprika
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder



  • Preheat your oven to 400 F. Place a baking sheet into the oven to pre-heat with the oven.
  • Mix the shake and bake mixture together in an airtight container.
  • Add the chicken breasts to a resealable bag and add 1/2 cup of the shake and bake mixture. Shake until fully coated.
  • Lay the chicken breasts onto the heated baking sheet and spray the chicken breasts with olive oil in the atomizer.
  • Bake for about 20-30 minutes (depending on the thickness of the breasts), or until a meat thermometer inserted into the centre reaches 165 F.
  • Store the shake and bake mixture in an airtight container in a cool place for up to 2 months.
