Oatmeal Cherry Cookie Mix
I load this up with whole grain flour, rolled oats, coconut and dried cherries that you just layer into a 1 L mason jar.

- 1 cup whole grain flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup dried cherries
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut toasted
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
Hey Mom! Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
Stir in 3/4 cup softened butter, one slightly beaten egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Mix until completely blended and shape into walnut-sized balls.
Place on a parchment lined cookie sheets 2 inches apart and bake for 10 to 13 minutes in preheated oven, or until edges are lightly browned.
Cool the cookies for about 5 minutes on cookie sheet and then transfer them to wire racks to finish cooling.
