Cool down this summer with these vegan kombucha fruit popsicles. These popsicles are the perfect healthy summer snack made with no added sugar and will leave your gut happy.
I’m a huge kombucha fan. I love it so much that instead of just drinking it, I love finding creative ways to use it in recipes. Since you guys loved my vegan peach melba kombucha float that I made a few summers back, I thought it would be fun to develop another kombucha themed treat to help you cool down this summer with these low calorie vegan kombucha fruit popsicles!
why these kombucha fruit popsicles THE BEST healthy summer snack
Hey I love a good ice-cream truck creamsicle as much as the next gal, but when I discovered how easy it was to make my own popsicles at home, and be able to add some healthy gut promoting probiotics to it, I was pretty stoked. These kombucha popsicles are designed to meet all of your summer lovin’ needs. You get to pick your favourite low calorie kombucha flavour, then pick your favourite fruits and herbs and pop it into popsicles molds to make it your own. They’re super low carb and low in calories (probably around 10-20 each or less) and they’re super refreshing. Even Baby E has been caught sucking on one when he was having a bad teething day.
key ingredients to make these easy vegan popsicles
These fruit popsicles only require two simple ingredients:
- Kombucha
- Your choice of fruit
how to make vegan kombucha fruit popsicles
The magic in these vegan kombucha fruit popsicles is that you only need two ingredients and a bit of patience for these babies to freeze (I know, that’s the only struggle). One important step is to open up your kombucha bottles, and let them sit with the cap off for a bit to let them flatten to just allow the bubbles to subside. Next, grab your popsicle molds (you can grab a set from amazon here). Divide up your favourite fruits, berries and herbs in each popsicle mold, top it up with your kombucha of choice, add a popsicle stick and let the freezing begin.
All that’s left is deciding where to enjoy these popsicles. Bring em to the cottage, enjoy them by the pool, or take them to your next picnic. Wherever to take them, you can guarantee they’ll leave you refreshed and hydrated after a day in the sun.
